Feeling unwell far from home? Talk to a doctor by video during your stay in Lille.
An hour from Brussels, ninety minutes from London, an hour from Paris: Lille is a crossroads where people stop for a night. Long enough to fall ill far from home.
DotKtor is a telehealth service for travellers, tourists and hotel guests who need medical help abroad. Request a video teleconsultation from your phone, without unnecessary trips.
Create my account and request a teleconsultationPayment is made directly by the patient before the consultation, and the price is shown before you book. For any urgent or worrying situation, call the emergency services immediately: 15 or 112.
The consultation covers common health problems that can arise while travelling.
A European rail hub linked to London and Brussels, Lille hosts a permanent cross-border flow alongside weekend city tourism and a large student population. Its Grand-Place and old town concentrate most short stays.
Many of the people in Lille have come from Belgium, the United Kingdom or elsewhere in France and have no local ties. Finding an available practitioner within hours is a gamble. In an emergency, call 15 or 112.
Three high points: spring, the Braderie in early September, which draws exceptional crowds over one weekend, and the year-end markets. Stays rarely exceed two nights.
Consultations are carried out by doctors registered with the French Medical Council (Ordre des Médecins) who practise in France, and experienced in caring for international patients during their stay. Subject to medical availability, an English-speaking doctor can take your consultation, so you can describe your symptoms without a language barrier.
Create your DotKtor account, submit your request, then access a video consultation with an available doctor. The service is designed to make it easier to reach a doctor during a stay or a trip.
