How a video consultation works

- The fee is shown to you before any booking, with no subscription and no hidden charges.
- You access a video consultation with an available doctor, from your phone or your computer.
- After the consultation you receive a detailed receipt, which you can send to your travel insurer.
A prescription can be issued only if the doctor considers it necessary and medically appropriate: it is the doctor's decision alone. Connection depends on real-time medical availability.

Create your DotKtor account, submit your request, then access a video consultation with an available doctor. The service is designed to make it easier to reach a doctor during a stay or a trip.
Do I have to be in one of the 48 cities?
No. The city pages are a local reference point: the consultation takes place by video and does not depend on your exact location. The doctors are registered with the French Medical Council and practise in France.
Does DotKtor replace emergency services?
No. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, severe faintness, chest pain, breathing difficulty, neurological signs or any worrying situation, call 15 or 112 immediately.
Can I get a prescription?
A prescription can be issued only if the doctor considers it necessary and medically appropriate after the consultation.
Is the consultation available in several languages?
Yes — subject to medical availability, DotKtor can offer doctors who speak French, English, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese.
