Feeling unwell far from home? Talk to a doctor by video during your stay in Cannes.
A festival week, a convention, a few days on the Croisette: stays in Cannes are short and diaries are full. A health problem here costs time you do not have.
DotKtor is a telehealth service for travellers, tourists and hotel guests who need medical help abroad. Request a video teleconsultation from your phone, without unnecessary trips.
Create my account and request a teleconsultationPayment is made directly by the patient before the consultation, and the price is shown before you book. For any urgent or worrying situation, call the emergency services immediately: 15 or 112.
The consultation covers common health problems that can arise while travelling.
As much a convention town as a seaside resort, Cannes swells in waves around the Palais des Festivals. Between the film festival in May, the spring trade calendar and the beach season, its public is overwhelmingly international and passing through.
During the big events the town holds several times its usual population, and practices fill accordingly. Without a local GP the wait grows. A video consultation saves the day. In an emergency, call 15 or 112.
Two peaks overlap: the convention calendar from February to June, then the beach season from June to September. Stays typically run three to five nights, in hotels or rentals, with days fully booked.
Consultations are carried out by doctors registered with the French Medical Council (Ordre des Médecins) who practise in France, and experienced in caring for international patients during their stay. Subject to medical availability, an English-speaking doctor can take your consultation, so you can describe your symptoms without a language barrier.
Create your DotKtor account, submit your request, then access a video consultation with an available doctor. The service is designed to make it easier to reach a doctor during a stay or a trip.

A teleconsultation does not depend on local availability: the request is made online whatever the town's calendar.
