Feeling unwell far from home? Talk to a doctor by video during your stay in Monaco.
On two square kilometres, Monaco concentrates a highly international resident population and a constant flow of business travel and yacht calls. Stays are brief and diaries tight.
DotKtor is a telehealth service for travellers, tourists and hotel guests who need medical help abroad. Request a video teleconsultation from your phone, without unnecessary trips.
Create my account and request a teleconsultationPayment is made directly by the patient before the consultation, and the price is shown before you book. For any urgent or worrying situation, call the emergency services immediately: 112.
The consultation covers common health problems that can arise while travelling.
A sovereign principality wedged between France and the sea, Monaco has a majority of foreign-national residents and a dense events calendar, including the Grand Prix in spring. Its population density is among the highest in the world.
On so small a territory, quick access to a doctor depends heavily on the local calendar: during major events, demand far exceeds the ordinary. A video consultation gets around that. In an emergency, call 112.
Numbers peak in spring around the Grand Prix, then through the summer. The rest of the year, business activity and yacht calls sustain a steady transient population, with stays often limited to a few nights.
Consultations are carried out by doctors registered with the French Medical Council (Ordre des Médecins) who practise in France, and experienced in caring for international patients during their stay. Subject to medical availability, an English-speaking doctor can take your consultation, so you can describe your symptoms without a language barrier.
Create your DotKtor account, submit your request, then access a video consultation with an available doctor. The service is designed to make it easier to reach a doctor during a stay or a trip.
